There is now 70 avatars for you to choose from of various Simpsons characters to spice up your profile.
To see the new avatars or select a new one go to Profile > Edit profile > Use a forum avatar and you can select a character of your choice.
You can also upload your own avatar too if you like as long as it goes by the forum rules which you can read here
