What kind of music does everybody on here like? I can't get enough of British 80's new wave, psychedelic 1970's sitar music, ambient songs from eastern Europe and also some 1990's stuff like Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve and Summer in San Tropez by Schoehn. Some of my favourite bands include The Clash, The Fixx, Tears for Fears, The Beatles, Talking Heads, Brian Eno, The Knack, The Doors, Ulver, Boards of Canada, The Partland Brothers, The Box, Blondie, The Fratellis, Bryan Ferry, Rod Stewart, Supertrammp, The Electric Light Orchestra, The Buzzcocks, Siouxie and the Banshees, Gowan, David Bowie, Abba, Anna Ternheim, Fountains of Wayne, Talk Talk, Patti Smith... among others, but I'm sick of typing anyway, what kind of music do you enjoy?

I like a lot of old school RnB, old school hip hop too in regards to genre's. I love the Beastie Boys, TLC, Matt Goss, Michael Jackson of course is a legend, I also really like Jamiroquai too I like a bit of everything to be fair though, I'm open to any kind of music apart from real heavy metal where they just scream down the mic and bang to make a lot of noise, same with hardcore rave too where it's just screechy. I appreciate people enjoy it though but for me, it's just ack haha

I don't really care for heavy metal, either. With one or two exceptions, most heavy metal songs are just difficult to listen to, especially while I'm trying to drive down the highway to school. :\

Yeah, The Beastie Boys I only recently got into the past few years or so, I discovered their music and their back catalogue and was just blown away with it. I tend to do that with a lot of music and artists though who were releasing before and then I discover them and really like them, I did the same with Jamiroquai recently, this song here being his first. The Beastie Boys have such a huge back catalogue all the way up until 2012 with their Hot Sauce Committee Part Two album just before Adam Yauch passed

They had so many fun videos like Intergalactic, Shake Your Rump, Hey Ladies etc... the list goes on as they were always doing great videos. Body Moving is another good one. See how many famous people you can spot in this, there are loads. Many are disguised too so you might not notice half of them but these were all fans of the band.

I'm surprised I didn't recognize Stanley Tucci in it; I just saw him acting in a role in the 2009 film 'The Lovely Bones'.
