I was wondering what you guys thought to this? Can you remember your experience when you first saw it? From what I've seen around the net it seems that at the time between the first part and the final episode between the season breaks it seems like there was a lot of merchandise and promotional's around the streets for this too such as McDonalds cups and it seems like it was just everywhere.
Did you get it right when you were watching who shot Mr Burns or did you know already before you saw this? How many of the clues do you remember seeing?
I was listening to the DVD commentary of the first episode and there are so many really great clues I had no idea about, some of them are impossible to get if you know to be honest but the fact they are there though is brilliant. I thought it was really well written and seems to be done so well also.
I would love us to have another two part episode like this which keeps us in suspense. Of course something completely different as they don't want to repeat the same thing they did before but I mean where we have something that keeps us intrigued until the next episode of some sort seems really good.
So what are your thoughts? What did you think to the two part Who Shot Mr Burns episodes? Any favourite moments and scenes? I would love to hear some thoughts and vibes from you guys.

I remember when I was a kid thinking that the murderer would be Skinner or Groundskeeper Willie, so the twist with it being Maggie was very interesting. It was also one of the first episodes where Smithers actually stood up to burns and told him off for stealing oil from the school.

Yeah, I can't fully remember who I thought it was when I first saw it but I think Smithers did make me question things a lot, although the fact he was in the frame so much also made me think not if I remember correctly. The scene of Smithers being drunk is great lol I think they really did this so well highlighting every character in the frame in some way, Bart with his dog, Homer with him forgetting his name and then how they mentioned Lisa and she was like 'I was getting to that'. The scene in the church I think too where it shows them all getting angry at Burns for some reason all putting them in the frame. Burns is such a great character that he's probably upset everyone at some point so it was great they had him to be the victim here in the episode which I feel really made it work

Yeah, Wiggums scene at the end of the first part always sticks in my mind too, when they're like 'Can you' and then he comments haha

Yeah, I'd love them to do something that keeps us in suspense again like this, like I say they'd need to do something different so it could be quite hard but it would be great though either way
