Ok, I thought this could be quite interesting. One of the things I love about The Simpsons is that pretty much every character we know is always incredibly unique and has such a good personality in some way or another that even the characters who are created for special one off episodes tend to always become incredibly memorable, even if they are in just the one episode mainly, this is nothing but a credit to the writers and creators of the show who clearly put a lot of work in everything they do with the show.
For example, I'm talking characters such as Mr Bergstrom, Jacques, Laura, Cowboy Bob, Hank Scorpio, Ms Botz etc.., sure sometimes they appear briefly in other episodes but usually very briefly or as an extra or something, for example Jacques is seen in the mob from The Simpsons Movie and he appears in the odd scene here and there throughout the series but really he was created for mainly for 'Life In The Fast Lane', same with Hank Scorpio for his role in 'You Only Move Twice' but you do see his name in a couple of other episodes and I think in a title scene too, Mr Bergstrom in Lisa's Substitute and then later in so many seasons after in The Kid Is Alright he makes an appearance but primarily he was exclusive to 'Lisa's Substitute' for that episode, I'm sure you get the gist.
So my question is which of these characters do you like the most and why? I think Hank Scorpio seemed to be a favourite and made his mark however for me it's Jacques and Mr Bergstrom, as well as mentioned in the previous thread about Ms Botz who was such a great character. I also really love Cowboy Bob and the way he's trying to sell Homer the RV is just really good, such a great character and another favourite of mine. Mr Bergstrom is just brilliant, the way he connects with people and he also seems like quite a fraud in some way even though he's not and he's a good dude, it's kinda hard to explain but I think that character is done so well and Jacques, well I just think he's brilliant. His chemistry with Marge in 'Life In The Fast Lane' is just brilliant and really highlights that episode, he has such an intriguing personality to him that I think he was done so well also, so for me I guess my favourite's are Jacques, Mr Bergstrom, Ms Botz and Cowboy Bob.
I know there will be characters I've missed off as I could go on for ages in regards to this, some I have put in the forum avatars too as you guys know as I know that people do tend to like these one off unique characters so they are there too for people to choose from here, however what are your thoughts in regards to this and who are your favourites?

. I think with Cowboy Bob it's just cause he's so convincing to Homer in regards to the RV that it really showed Homers character in regards to Marge and his own temptations kinda thing, like where he puts them in priority if that makes sense even though you know his loyalty is with Marge. It's a little like the cable TV episode, I just really like how he tries to convince Homer to get the RV and I really like his aura that he has also
